Example 6: Impact of metal plate, local mesh refinement

A plate has an initial velocity and impacts on a rigid disk. The initial mesh is plotted below

With this initial mesh, several time steps are taken. Then a local mesh refinement is applied. This local mesh refinement uses the residue in the equations to decide where the mesh should be refined. This strategy is applied several times. The final mesh is plotted below:
